We've always seen Congress as the place where America's elected representatives engage in bloodless war over their oft times mutually exclusive, polar opposite, political/ideological (PI) differences, i.e., liberal legislative [solutions, policies] vs. conservative legislative [S, P].
But, with PKQ-controlled Congresses, our legislators would have a new, radically different task: first, look at America's major EFFS problems through an apolitical/non-ideological (ANI) lens.
Instead of Congress' PKQ-caliber Ds and Rs forging compromises half way between their two parties' stated positions, logic (and wisdom) suggests that they would start with a blank piece of paper, then co-craft legislative solutions with the involvement in real time, both passive and active, of the vast mainstream (VM) of the American people—including, and especially, America's tens of millions of 6th-12th graders.
The overt objective: come up with a wide range of policy solutions that a substantial majority of the VM of society could wholeheartedly support, not least because they were involved in the process from the very beginning.
The non-overt objective: both inculcate and enculturate into society writ large—including, and especially, America's tens of millions of 6th-12th graders—a hands-on attitude re the process of self-governance; there is no sharp line (or imposing wall) between the people and their government.
